Yorkshire-based ILED Media has won the contract to install a series of “totem” displays at the London Designer Outlet opening next month.
The company has been appointed to manufacture and install nine 65in double-sided digital advertising display screens – six located within the complex and three along Wembley Boulevard – the main route of access to the outlet.
Although ILED is a relatively new company, its workforce has more than 30 years’ experience in the supply of technology solutions, from outside LED advertising displays to LCD screens.
The business, which is located in Harrogate, prides itself on being the single point of contact for its clients, offering a total solution from consultancy, planning, installation, design, support and maintenance.
ILED Media’s UK sales manager Andrew Simister said:
“We are delighted to have been awarded this contract for the London Designer Outlet.
“The development expects to attract around eight million visitors a year and tap into a potential retail spend of £1.6 billion and £1.8 billion spend on food and beverage.
“Clearly in a retail development of this scale and size attracting potential customers, leading them to different parts of the outlet and advertising what the development offers is crucial.
“Not only will we be able to facilitate this, we will do it with state-of-the-art technologies that will, along with other key investments in the site, help to place the London Designer Outlet as the premier shopping destination in Wembley.”
