Leeds-based law firm Emsleys has been shortlisted for two prestigious Law Society Excellence Awards.
The awards, which this year received a record number of entries, recognise excellence in the legal industry and Emsleys has been shortlisted for its new-to-market service Review My Claim, which launched earlier this year to help accident victims.
Andrew Greenwood, partner and personal injury law expert at Emsleys, said:
“We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for these national awards.
“Review My Claim was launched out of my disappointment at poor standards in certain parts of the personal injury industry – we estimate that approximately 50,000 claims are mishandled each year – and I’m delighted to say that, six months after launching, uptake of the free independent service is higher than any of us anticipated.
“We put our clients and staff at the heart of everything we do, so we’re delighted to have also been shortlisted for a second award which recognises the initiatives we have introduced to ensure every aspect of our firm reflects and lives by our brand values: ‘client first, responsible, enterprising’.”
Emsleys has been nominated for Excellence in Business & Innovation and Excellence in Marketing & Communications.
The ceremony will take place on 22nd October at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge in London.
