The barriers to understanding the latest employment legislation will be broken down at a business seminar being staged at the end of the month.
The event – aimed at small to medium sized enterprises in Nidderdale, the Washburn Valley and Mashamshire – is being led by Nidderdale Plus in conjunction with Raworths’ Solicitors and is free to attend.
It is geared towards employers with responsibility for human resources and risk management issues, though anyone with an interest in the topic is welcome to attend.
This is the latest in a series of business-focused sessions being promoted by the organisation and will take place at 4:30pm on Monday, September 30 at the Old Workhouse in Pateley Bridge.
Nidderdale Plus manager Katy Penn said:
“One of our key strategies is to support businesses in this rural area, which is home to a host of micro and small to medium enterprises.
“The aim of the seminars is not only to inform but also provide an opportunity for business-owners to get together and network.
“We are very grateful to Raworths for supporting this session, which we know will be of great interest to many in the Nidderdale Plus area.”
Nidderdale Plus’s aim is to keep services local, to support businesses and community organisations and to work in partnership to make a difference. Its office is in the historic Old Workhouse building in Pateley Bridge.
Booking is required for this event. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org before Wednesday, September 25 to confirm your place.
