Leeds video production company’s film showcased at indie film festival

Award-winning Leeds video production company, The Production Zone, is celebrating after its short festive horror film “Silent Night” is to be shown at the No/Gloss Film Festival – Leeds’ independent film festival this weekend.

“Silent Night” is one of the only films selected which was produced in Yorkshire.

The film will be screened at a weekend long festival showcasing over 100 films.

The film festival is now in its second year and celebrates local and international independent film-makers who produce work with a DIY attitude and with little or no budget.

Featured on www.liveforfilms.co.uk “Silent Night” has already been shown at film festivals in Seoul, Florida and South Carolina as well as racking up thousands of hits from viewers around the world on YouTube and Twitter.

David Felber, producer and director of the short film and owner of The Production Zone said:

“We’re delighted our horror film is being showcased in Leeds and just before Halloween.

“Short films have always been a passion of mine and the fact they are now becoming increasingly popular is great.

“Created on a small budget, it is amazing to see how our short film has gained such a strong following.”
