Staff at a Sheffield firm have been going the extra mile all month in aid of their chosen charity Neurocare.
Neurocare November has seen 100 individuals and companies across South Yorkshire raise a minimum of £100 throughout the month for the charity.
Wilson Field has organised a variety of fundraisers over the past few weeks, including a ‘guess the name of the bear’ competition.
Also, Corin McCann, senior fundraiser at Neurocare, made a special visit to the Wilson Field offices by being an “employee for the day” and undertook admin duties for members of staff, as well as making drinks and selling cakes for extra donations.
Nick Wilson, managing director of Wilson Field, said:
“Neurocare is one of the main charities we have supported over the years. As a team, we enjoy coming together to raise money for a worthy cause and thinking of inventive fundraising ideas.”
The Sheffield-based insolvency and business recovery specialist has raised more than £16,000 for Neurocare over the last four years to help buy equipment for use in the Hallamshire Hospital’s Neuro theatres.
The charity also funds research projects and specialist training so people suffering from Neurological conditions can receive the best care available.
