Yorkshire-based online fashion brand, Damart has appointed MediaCom’s Manchester office to handle its multi-million pound media planning and buying account.

The appointment follows an extensive review headed up by Damart’s marketing and ecommerce director, Phil Anderson.

He said:

“When we started this process we wanted to find an integrated partner, not just a supplier and in MediaCom we have the ideal agency to take our advertising forward.

“Not only do they offer the longer-term strategic insight, but they also understand the need for detailed and accurate planning.”

Damart has more than a million customers in the UK with a focus on the 55 plus market. Advertising is a key element of its recruitment strategy and represents the largest share of its acquisition budget.

He added:

“During the next 12 months we will be focussing on modernising all aspects of our offer so that we appeal to a wider age range.”
