The recruitment specialists saw turnover rise by an impressive 36 per cent to £12.25m for the 12 months to October 31, with profit up 45 per cent year on year.
Elliot Kidd, director of Frontline Recruitment, said:
“Our excellent set of results show that confidence is returning to the jobs market. Employers are now looking to ‘try before they buy’ with regards to staffing – and they’re turning to Frontline, leading to record results for us.
“The vast majority of our clients are now expanding their teams after what has been a very tough few years for them.
“With confidence returning to the economy we’re finding they’re ready to take advantage of an increase in orders.”
Elliot said Frontline has noticed a definite rise in clients from the manufacturing and construction sectors taking on more staff.
“The majority of our new clients – some 44 per cent – come from manufacturing companies, whilst one in ten of Frontline’s new clients are now from the building and construction industry – a figure that is continuing to climb.
“Our team is responding well to these sectors, as they both continue to grow.
“The manufacturing sector is often a good barometer as to where the economy is, and at Frontline we‘ve got the knowledge and experience to react quickly to our clients’ needs.
“Meanwhile, the construction industry is powering ahead, and to see such a positive result in the number of companies looking to increase their staff numbers within the sector is very good news indeed.
The record results come after Frontline Recruitment launched a new division covering the whole of the UK in 2013.
Headed up by Kevin Page the Facilities Management desk covers electrical, gas refrigeration and air conditioning appointments, on both a temporary and permanent basis.
“We’ve expanded because our clients demanded it. On the back of our excellent results, we’ll be looking at further expansion throughout 2014, with a host of new positions throughout our six offices around the country.
“I’d like to thank the team for their dedication over the last 12 months – we’re already planning to break another record this year.”
