Flights to Poland and Lithuania from South Yorkshire have become more accessible to travellers following a revision of departure times.
Wizz Air has retimed a number of flights from Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield for its summer 2014 schedule to Warsaw, Poznan and Vilnius to make them more convenient for UK based passengers.
Flights to Warsaw Chopin in Poland will now operate at 08:10am, Mondays and Fridays, while trips to Poznan will run at 17:20pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Flights to the Lithuanian city of Vilnius will be at 07:30am each Wednesday and Friday.
Vilnius and Warsaw were both named in the top three destinations for ‘Best Value for Money City Breaks’ by the Post Office last year after becoming popular with UK travellers for weekend visits.
Doncaster Sheffield Airport offer flights to a number of destinations across Poland, including Gdansk, Katowice, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
In total, more than one million people have flown from Doncaster Sheffield Airport with Wizz Air and to accommodate the growing interest in Eastern Europe destinations, Wizz Air has added an extra frequency to Warsaw Chopin during peak summer.
