Turn Key will handle all PR and marketing activity for Hammerson’s Victoria Quarter, an iconic retail destination in the city centre which this year celebrates its 24th birthday as well as the highly anticipated Victoria Gate development, due to be completed in Autumn 2016.
The account win comes off the back of a continued successful programme of public relations activity by Turn Key for the Victoria Gate development since 2010.
The agency helped communicate progress from planning through to consent.
Turn Key’s managing director Nik Entwistle said:
“The relationship between Turn Key and Hammerson has gone from strength to strength since we were asked to handle its first public-consultation event in 2010.
“It’s an exciting time for the retail sector as consumer confidence grows and Leeds in particular continues to cement its status as the best retail destination in the UK.
“The whole agency is really excited to be involved with these projects for Hammerson and we’re incredibly proud to be a part of such prestigious plans.”
Fiona Campbell-Roberts, UK head of marketing at Hammerson, said:
“Turn Key impressed us with their creative work and meticulous strategic planning in conducting the first public consultation for the Victoria Gate development and they’ve shown incredible passion and creativity in their approach to the Victoria Quarter.
“I’m confident the partnership between Turn Key and Hammerson will continue to flourish beyond the Victoria Gate opening in 2016.”
