Since DRFC’s takeover of the Dons was completed in November last year the club commercial achievements have gone from strength to strength.
The Dons have attracted a host of new sponsors including Corsan Electrical, Beaumont Insurance, Stoneacre, The Crown Hotel and Murvic Construction.
In addition a number of the club’s loyal, long term sponsors have renewed their sponsorship deals including Centurion Europe, Warpaint Cosmetic’s, Green Energy Solutions, New Image Contracts and Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust.
“We are absolutely delighted by the response we have had from the local business community following the takeover.
“The buy into the Club Doncaster brand has been fantastic and we are working hard to promote the strategy of one town and one community working together for the benefit of people across the Borough.
“The additional revenue streams that the takeover has generated have been immediate and the Rovers commercial team have been working exceptionally hard to attract and maintain sponsors.
“The number of new sponsors for the 2014 season is testament to the efforts of Andrew Whitham and his team and it is a key early indication of how much potential the Dons now have under the ownership of Rovers.
