An award-winning Leeds based business, which owns and manages ten bars across Yorkshire, has revealed outline plans for 2014.
“In June 2014 we will open our third ‘Pit’ site in Harrogate. This will be underneath a new Jamie’s Italian restaurant.
“In August we will open a new bar in Leeds city centre, which will be called ‘Mannahatta’ – this is the original name for New York’s Manhattan before it was discovered by Henry Hudson in 1609, and this will be our third new design concept.”
One of the most recent openings by Arc Inspirations, The Pit located on lower Merrion Street, opened in Summer 2013 and this underground, urban style bar has proved a great success for the company.
So much so, that an existing location in Chapel Allerton was refurbished and re-launched in Autumn 2013 and The Pit in Chapel Allerton remains one of the most popular neighbourhood bars in the area.
The “Mannahatta” concept is currently being worked on by designers and architects, the theme being “industrial glamour”.
Martin and his team will travel to New York in March to research the very best bars and restaurants that the Big Apple has to offer.
The trip includes Arc Inspirations’ architects and the food and drink development team.
“Leeds deserves to have cutting edge bar design, great food and drinks choices and excellence in service, so seeing what’s out there is integral to getting the best for our customers.”
The addition of these two new locations, takes Arc Inspirations’ portfolio to 12 in 2014 and follows an investment last year alone of £2.25m.
The Pit on Merrion Street has also been shortlisted in the prestigious national industry award, The Publican’s Award for Best New Pub/Bar Site 2014.
