After weeks of extensive works to their offices on King Street, the transformation of one of Brighouse’s most established solicitors is complete.
Bearders Solicitors, which was first established in the 1920s, has installed a new office front and re-modeled and refurbished its reception area and office space.
The new offices now offer local people and business owners a modern, welcoming environment to pop in for legal advice.
The transformation of the King Street offices follows a recent partnership with Wilkinson Woodward, a long established legal practice which also has offices in Huddersfield and Halifax.
While the name above the door has changed, Wilkinson Woodward Bearders remain committed to serving and supporting the local community.
The Brighouse office is home to the Bearder Charity, set up by John Bearder to benefit the people of Calderdale.
The charity awards grants totalling around £120,000 every year to both individual and community projects across the Calder Valley.
Richard Smithies, who is based at the Brighouse office, said:
“Bearders has been providing legal services to the people of Brighouse and beyond for almost a century.
“As Wilkinson Woodward Bearders, we now look forward to welcoming new and existing clients in a more modern and welcoming environment.”
From its Brighouse offices, Wilkinson Woodward Bearders provide a full range of legal services including conveyancing, commercial law, wills and probate, family advice and mediation.
