York-based digital agency, Plump, has celebrated its fifth birthday by welcoming its fifth member to join its busy team.
Plump has welcomed Jon Hurrell to the team as a Front-end Web Developer.
Jon has joined Plump from the University of Leeds where he worked on large scale websites and application builds.
Jon has a wealth of experience in the education sector which Plump hope to use as it expands its portfolio in this sector.
On joining Plump’s team Jon said:
“I originally met members of the Plump team at a conference and it was clear that they were an agency with big ideas and creative digital solutions which would benefit the education sector particularly as well as other industries.
“I was keen to bring my experiences of driving those same values at a huge institution level in a different context, but where it would hopefully have a large impact.”
Rob Colley, client services director at Plump, said:
“As we celebrated our fifth year of trading we were continuing to secure substantial projects from The Rock of York, York St John University, Illuminate Development and the Yorkshire Film Archive and it was clear we needed to expand our team.
“We were delighted to welcome Jon to Plump and he has already made a significant contribution to the successful delivery of our projects.
“We’re now in a very strong position to offer even more skills and experience to new and existing clients.”
As a front-end developer Jon will work with the team to develop the creative designs into working solutions for clients’ websites, apps and online games.
