Sheffield-based manufacturing company Birley has appointed Andrew Rose to the newly created post of Head of Project Delivery, as part of its on-going development.
Birley Manufacturing specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke and roll out equipment for the retail, industrial, rail and education sectors and achieved a turnover of over £10 million in 2013.
Working with some of the UK’s top retailers, such as Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, HSBC and other blue chip high street names, the business has decades of experience under its belt and employs over 90 people.
Andrew, 51, brings with him a wealth of technical expertise and a proven track record managing a variety of multi-million pound infrastructure and redevelopment projects.
Andrew has previously worked for high profile construction firms managing multi-disciplinary teams and working with strategic partners at various sites throughout the UK.
At Birley, Andrew will be looking after contracts and projects from clients in all areas of the business, overseeing the delivery and installation services for Birley as a whole and heading up the project delivery teams with a view to improving efficiency across the organisation.

In his spare time Andrew enjoys sports, in particular sailing and golf. He lives locally in Sheffield.
