A Yorkshire entrepreneur is backing a new business club to boost the funds of Martin House ahead of National Children’s Hospice Week (13-20 June).
David Ross, MD of Valeos, will be guest speaker at the launch of The Business Club which aims to raise enough cash to pay for a skilled care specialist, instrumental to operations.
A staunch supporter of Martin House, both David and the charity envisage members of The Business Club working in partnership with the charity whilst forging valuable relations with like minded people.
Based on a contribution of £250 a year, for a minimum of three years, membership provides a much needed cash injection and the chance for members to network, increase awareness and grow their business through regular meetings, events and links to other companies.
Mr Ross said:
“The Business Club provides a unique opportunity for SME’s to address their Corporate Social Responsibility policies whilst investing in and maximising business potential.”
Now in their 27th year, Martin House cares for children and young people with progressive life-limiting illnesses throughout the Yorkshire region.
The charity demonstrates unparalleled commitment to working with individuals and their families – offering maximum support, flexibility and care.
The event is by invitation only but for further information on Martin House and fundraising http://www.martinhouse.org.uk/
