An awards event in the House of Commons awaits Vital Network Solutions in Knaresborough which has been nominated for Microsoft Employer of the Year.
The company’s managing director Lee Evans will represent the business at the Microsoft Apprentice of the Year ceremony which takes place in the Strangers’ Dining Room, on 23 June.
He will join other award hopefuls along with MPs at the event after the business, which specialises in outsourced IT management, impressed Microsoft judges with its application.
Lee Evans said:
“We are up against four other businesses, including the multinational Cisco Systems, so making it to the finals of these prestigious awards is testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of everyone in the company.
“Microsoft’s Apprentice of the Year Award is one of the most sought-after accolades within the industry, and celebrates the growing importance of apprenticeships in closing the skills gap in the IT sector.”
