They cycled a nine-mile route from York city centre to Naburn and back led by Nicola Doody of Giant Cycles in York and one of her colleagues.
Emma, a partner in commercial property at Langleys, said:
“The York Cycle Challenge is a great initiative and with the imminent arrival of the Tour de France Grand Départ in Yorkshire, more people are giving cycling a go.
“Cycling is good fun and keeps our staff fit – it’s great to have the opportunity to encourage everyone to get on their bikes!”
The York Cycle Challenge involves businesses competing against each other to see who can get the most staff to ride a bike for just 10 minutes or more.
The competition runs until 6 July.
