Morley’s Eurotrail expands vehicle fleet and increases workforce by 80 per cent

EuroTrail, the Morley-based supplier of commercial vehicle leasing and short-term rental solutions, is to significantly expand its fleet of vehicles to cater for strong demand for its services following £750,000 in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial.

The Yorkshire firm is also boosting the number of staff, from ten to 18.

Established in 1997, EuroTrail provides a range of services from vehicle rental and asset finance to contract hire, vehicle sourcing and now logistics.

The company remains very much a family run business: husband and wife founders and owners Alan and Carolyn Steers are supported on a day-to-day basis by their sons Adam and Mathew and a longstanding team.

The company has experienced strong growth, with annual turnover growing to £5 million, and has reached a point where further vehicles and staff are necessary to meet strong client demand.

Adam Steers, operations director, EuroTrail, said:

“These are exciting times for the business as we expand both our fleet and our workforce.

“Santander has been integral to our success in taking the next step forward in our growth strategy and we’re delighted to be working with the team.”

Dan Houman, relationship director, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said:

“Some of the UK’s most successful ventures are family businesses that continue to grow and develop over several generations.

“In the case of EuroTrail, it’s clear that there is definite ambition to take the business forward into a new phase and we have every confidence that it will enjoy huge success.”
