Sheffield based design and manufacturing specialist Birley Manufacturing has appointed Ken Sharp as project manager to work on its banking sector.
Ken, who joined the company earlier this month, has over 39 years of experience in the industry, having worked his way up from the age of 17 when he started as a joiner. In his previous role he has worked on a range of banking projects for clients such as RBS and NatWest. Ken will manage Birley’s substantial range of banking work with Barclays, HSBC and others.
Ken has 2 children and lives locally in Sheffield.
Birley Manufacturing is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers for interior environments and rail carriage equipment and works with some of the UK’s top names, such as Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Barclays and First Great Western. Recently the firm has launched a stand-alone design service.
