Parents who use the services at Leeds Mencap have even taken part in some challenges and had this to say about Leeds Mencap;
“The Hawthorn Family Support has helped our children in a beautiful way. The support and the staff at Hawthorn have been excellent. We’d encourage you to get involved with The Yorkshire Marathon and help raise funds for this amazing charity.”
Fahad Khan, Senior Fundraising Officer said;
“This has been a record breaking year for Leeds Mencap with our series of summer challenges and we are really grateful to our amazing supporters and participants for having done such a fantastic job in raising such a large sum of money. With the Yorkshire Marathon fast approaching and just a few days left to fill the remaining places, we’d love to have another sold-out event so we’ve decided to have a special offer of £25 registration and an ask of a £250 fundraising pledge which is a great offer and this is on until 12pm, Monday 11th August 2014. If anyone is interested to take on a fantastic challenge and be part of a great Leeds Mencap summer, do get in touch!”
