Beginners’ course in open data launched by Leeds Data Mill

Leeds Data Mill is launching a “Leeds School of Data” course for beginners which will offering entry level training in how to find, use and understand open data.

The course runs over four weeks on Tuesday 16,  23,  30 September and  October 7, and will be held at Carriageworks.

The sessions will be led by Studio of Things founder Simon Wilson and offer training on how and where to find open data and how it can be stored and analysed.

The course is aimed at anyone who is interested in learning about how to use open data to define ideas, conceive solutions and prototype services that can improve the quality of life in Leeds.

The four session course costs £10 and all materials and equipment will be provided by the course.
