A tax manager from the Hull office of accountants Baker Tilly has been recognised as one of the rising stars of the UK’s private client practitioner community.
Claire Chapman, who joined Baker Tilly in 2004, was named one of the 2014 ‘top 35 under 35’ by eprivateclient, a leading news site for private client practitioners including lawyers, accountants, trustees and independent financial advisers.
The ‘top 35 under 35’ award is designed to identify, recognise, promote and introduce the rising stars of the private client practitioner community nationally.
Claire will be joining the other prize winners for a champagne reception in London on 29 September where she will be presented with her winner’s plaque.
Claire Chapman said, ‘I am passionate about providing the highest levels of service to our private clients, and being honoured in this way is incredibly motivating. It also reflects positively on the work of the whole private client tax team here in Hull.’
Jackie Hall, a tax partner in Baker Tilly’s Hull office said, ‘Claire should rightly be proud of this achievement which underlines her hard work and commitment.
“It is also an important milestone as she progresses her career in the private client field.”
