Teenage comedian Jack Carroll promises plenty of laughs for charity event

Brighouse comedian and Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Jack Carroll will return to the city where he made his debut, as the star attraction for a fundraiser for Barnardo’s Turnaround Service in Bradford.

Bradford-based specialist finishing and fit-out firm PEC is hosting a Winter Wonderland Ball at the Cedar Court hotel on 25 October as part of its year-long fundraising efforts for the local charity which works with some of the city’s most vulnerable young people.

PEC Chairman Balbir Panesar said: “We are over the moon that Jack will be joining us at the ball later this month.”

In 2010, comedian Jason Manford asked Jack to join him on stage at St George’s Hall, Bradford after spotting him via YouTube.

He then went on to wow the Britain’s Got Talent judges – and the nation – finishing as the runner-up in the 2013 competition.

Jack will attend the Winter Wonderland event with members of his family.

“I’m looking forward to what promises to be a great night,” he said.

The PEC Winter Wonderland charity ball will be held on Saturday 25 October at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford.
