The Victoria Quarter kept its doors open one evening until 9pm to welcome more than 8,500 visitors to the annual Shopping Affair.
The carnival-themed evening saw shoppers enjoy exclusive promotions, competitions and complimentary refreshments in many of the 72 luxury retailers.
Aerial artists, steel drums and acrobats entertained shoppers whilst they browsed their favourite brands at the one-night-only occasion.
At the 6-9pm event, shoppers were able to park for free in facilities off Eastgate on Templar Street, Lady Lane and Edward Street, and guests were also given the chance to enter a prize draw to win a luxury holiday to Jamaica, courtesy of Kuoni Travel.
John Bade, centre manager at the Victoria Quarter, said, “The Shopping Affair really is Yorkshire’s favourite shopping event, and we’re thrilled with the success of the evening this year.
“For our customers, luxury shopping is much more than buying an expensive gift or something for yourself, it’s about an all-round enjoyable experience.
“To see so many people enjoying themselves at the Victoria Quarter was fantastic”.
