West Yorkshire based bedding manufacturer, Slumberdown, is on a mission to help the nation get a better night’s sleep with the launch of its new Sleep Clinic campaign.
As part of its campaign, Slumberdown has unveiled a brand new interactive Sleep Clinic service which offers personalised sleep advice from Slumberdown’s resident sleep expert and Director of the Northumbria Centre for Sleep Research, Professor Jason Ellis.
The new Sleep Clinic service will be available on the Slumberdown website where customers experiencing sleepless nights and want to take advantage of Prof Ellis’ expertise will be required to answer a number of simple sleep related questions, such as What time do you go bed? How long does it take you to get off to sleep? If you were free to plan your day what time would you go to bed?
From the information provided Professor Jason will be able to assess sleep efficiency and gather valuable insight into the sleep patterns of each individual and suggest what can be done so that they can finally get a good night’s sleep.
For those who are looking for more general sleep advice, the website boasts an additional Sleep Clinic section which includes a number of short videos offering hints and tips on how to get a better night’s sleep.
For Twitter fans, Prof Ellis will be on hand to answer all sleep related questions in a takeover of the Slumberdown twitter account on Monday 27, October.
Customers wanting to get personal sleep advice will be able to join the conversation at @SlumberdownUK between 8 – 9pm by using the hashtag #sleepclinic.
In addition Prof Ellis will be working with Slumberdown stockists to solve their customer’s sleep problems.
Prof Ellis said: “We know that good quality sleep is fundamental to our long-term health and wellbeing and yet many of us suffer from a whole host of problems. T
“These problems at night can affect our daily performance and this creates a vicious cycle of poor nights followed by poor days.
“This service is an opportunity for us to help guide you on some simple things you can do to improve your sleep and where you can get help if you have a more persistent problem.”
David Page, sales and marketing director at Slumberdown said: “Sleep is essential for health and wellbeing, yet there’s millions of people who don’t get enough and struggle to sleep for a number of reasons.
“Working with an expert like Professor Jason and being able to offer a personalised service such as the Sleep Clinic is a fantastic added benefit for our customers and a way we can really help everyone enjoy that all important good night’s sleep.”
