NVQ success and investment continues at fast growth IT business

Fast growth IT business Advanced Digital Dynamics (ADD) is investing in NVQ training for almost half of its team as the company moves to the next level.

Operations director Julie Pickersgill is among the nine employees undertaking the qualifications at the computer hardware and data destruction specialist which has recently expanded into 27,500 sq ft warehouse and office premises in Harrogate’s Hornbeam Park to accommodate further growth.

Julie and her daughter Toni, who is HR and office manager, are undertaking an Institute of Leadership and Management level 5 diploma; Vali Moldovan and Rob Ingham are studying for a level 3 in business administration; Leigh Rowley is working towards a level 3 in customer service; Richard Forth is aiming for a level 3 in warehousing while Daniel Koprowski, Aidan Mcnab and Scott Young are seeking to achieve a level 3 in management.

Seven of the ADD team – who include Aidan McNabb and Piotr Jaszczynski – have previously achieved a raft of NVQ qualifications – reinforcing ADD’s commitment to enable its employees to develop their full potential.  

Julie Pickersgill, whose achievements to date includes a level 3 NVQ in business administration, said: “Investing in staff training is extremely important in progressing our business and shows that we recognise the benefit of enhancing our team’s skill base.”

Growing and innovating through the recession and beyond, ADD, which also operates out of the Daresbury Science Park, provides independent business IT solutions in hardware and software, as well as safe onsite data destruction, lifecycle asset management and disaster recovery.
