Hambleton businesses told to “save the date”!

Members of family based businesses across Hambleton are being urged not to miss the district’s 2015 spring conference.

The Hambleton Strategic Forum event next May will focus on how some of the district’s family businesses have achieved success, what difficulties they have faced and how these lessons can be transposed across all types of organisations and businesses.

The May 29 event at Bedale Hall will be the third annual conference from the forum – and is open to all businesses, town and estate forums and networking clubs in the area.

There will be keynote speeches from Anne Preston, MBE, of transport company Prestons of Potto and Anita Brightley-Hodges of Family Business Place.

The event will be compered by David Kerfoot, MBE of Kerfoot Oils.

There will be exhibitions to check out and networking opportunities.

And an update on the District Council’s Economic Strategy ‘A place to Grow’ will also be given.
