Sheffield PR agency shortlisted for national award

South Yorkshire’s leading PR consultancy has been nominated for a national industry award.

Sheffield-based HR Media has been shortlisted in the Low Budget Campaign of the Year category at the PRmoment Awards 2015 for its Going for Gold campaign.

Delivered on behalf of the South Yorkshire Sainsbury’s School Games, it aimed to get more young people across the region to take part in competitive sport.

The campaign helped to increase primary and secondary school engagement in the 2014 multi-sport festival by 60 per cent and participant entries by 71 per cent.

It comes after the same campaign won Gold in the Low Budget category at the CIPR Yorkshire and Lincolnshire PRide Awards in 2014.

Martin Ross, managing director at HR Media said: “It is a fantastic achievement for our Going for Gold campaign to be nominated for yet another industry award.

“To receive national recognition is a great endorsement of the hard work and innovation of our talented team.”

HR Media was formed in 1997 and works to help a range of clients achieve their business objectives.

It was ranked as the top PR agency in South Yorkshire in a national survey of PR companies in the North of England.

The PRmoment Awards 2015 take place at The Hilton Manchester Deansgate Hotel on 11 March 2015.
