Clarks York Monks Cross Gets a new look this Spring

Footwear brand, Clarks is o re-open its York Monks Cross store this Friday following a store refit.

Already a destination for men’s, women’s and children’s shoes, the 241m² standalone Clarks store located at 16 Monks Cross Retail Park, Huntington, York, now boasts a premium re-fit including cutting edge exteriors.

The store has been enhanced with contemporary window displays, premium in store visuals and a sleek interior design that is easy to navigate and creates a more inviting shopping space for consumers. The specially designed iPad foot measuring gauge will continue to feature in-store and ensure that children have stylish shoes that fit their feet perfectly.

What is more, tablets will be introduced in May to enable the store’s 44 staff members to have improved dialogue with customers which means service will be paramount as consumers will be able to order in-store and collect from the store.

Tanya Clabin, Store Manager, said: “We have proudly been part of Clarks at Monks Cross Retail Park since 1998 and the investment in the refit of the store reflects Clarks’ commitment to the store team, the centre and local community and we look forward to opening the doors to our new look store.”

“With this in mind, we have a programme to re-fit a number of our stores using our latest shop-fit design to create a more consistent and enhanced shopping experience.  

“The new store will allow us to showcase our stylish range of footwear in our latest premium, yet welcoming, format. We very much look forward to introducing this to our existing consumers as well as attracting new consumers to the brand.”

 

The opening of the new store will be celebrated with a prize draw in-store for the first week of its re-opening. Ten free pairs of shoes will be up for grabs – four on the first day and one pair each day thereafter for one week.
