Based in West Yorkshire, HSL has been supplying handmade, high quality furniture for more than 40 years. Founded in 1968, the company now has 42 stores across the country with more than 56,000 customers.
The family-run business is dedicated to providing a very personal, bespoke customer service and value for money with its back-care furniture, tailored to fit its customer’s needs.
Spanning a variety of media channels, Prohibition’s activity will include traditional media relations, blogger and influencer relations as well as a series of fully integrated PR campaigns targeted at a consumer audience.
The first campaign, which will be kicking off in April, will aim to champion the thousands of over 50s in the UK who are now fitter than many of today’s 20 year olds.
The activity will also include highlighting the fine work of HSL’s “head of comfort” and fully qualified Occupational Therapist. She will act as a key spokesperson, discussing the campaign and offering a range of professional fitness and mobility advice.
Marketing manager at HSL, Venessa Hodgson, said: “At HSL we pride ourselves on our personal approach to customer service, and with 12 new store openings in the past year, as a business, we are going from strength to strength.
“We felt we needed to raise our profile and Prohibition was the perfect match for that.”
Chris Norton, founder and managing director of Prohibition said: “We are delighted to be working with a fantastic brand like HSL. This is a brand that aims to truly help people with useful advice and brilliant therapeutic products that offer genuine benefits.
“The brand has an ambitious growth strategy and we are going to aid that strategy with clever though through integrated campaigns. We are looking forward to working together for many years to come.”
