The second budget of 2015 – a result of the recent General Election – takes place on July 8 and leading Harrogate accountancy practice CCF is inviting local businesses to a free breakfast to hear how any key announcements will affect them.
The event takes place from 8am – 10am on July 9 at the Cairn Hotel on Ripon Road in Harrogate, when guests can enjoy informal networking as well as breakfast and a presentation about the emergency budget.
Teresa Bowe, founder and manager of CCF Accountancy, based on Victoria Avenue in Harrogate, says she is expecting a number of important developments that will have implications for owner-managed businesses and urged as many as possible to attend.
“The March budget was typical pre-election – nothing too controversial. Now the Government can implement policies without worrying so there are likely to be some important changes,” she explains.
“Part of the Conservative manifesto was that they wouldn’t increase income tax, so this could mean significant changes in other areas. We’ll be digging out the nitty-gritty and making sure people are aware of the most important points.”
The CCF Emergency Budget Breakfast is free to attend but places are limited and must be booked in advance. For more details or to reserve a place, call 01423 567499 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
