South Yorkshire lone worker specialists Peoplesafe are celebrating one year of being accredited by the Living Wage Foundation for providing a fair wage to all staff.
The company, which has its headquarters in Dinnington, was given official accreditation last July in recognition of its pay structure.
Peoplesafe is one of the UK’s leading providers of simple and lightweight equipment, monitoring services and training for lone workers. It provides an NSI Gold accredited service, the highest possible industry recognition, which is fully compliant with the British Standard for lone worker provision (8484).
Ian Johannessen, managing director of Peoplesafe, said: “We are delighted to be part of the living wage movement. As a service business we are only as good as our people and this is one way for the company to demonstrate its commitment to staff.
“Working at Peoplesafe involves providing a vital service to clients. Our dedicated team are pro-active and ensure our clients are equipped and trained to stay safe in their roles. That attitude should be properly rewarded.”
Peoplesafe’s clients include a range of major retailers, house builders and facilities management companies.
