Yorkshire’s most successful businesspeople will share their secrets at a business summit taking place at Tankersley Manor, near Barnsley, in October.
The event is organised by Yorkshire business membership and support organisation Connect Gazelles. Owners and directors from over 200 businesses in the region are expected to attend.
Jet2 chairman and chief executive Philip Meeson is today unveiled as a keynote speaker as is serial entrepreneur Peter Roberts, who is executive chairman of Pure Gym Ltd.
The event, which is themed Yorkshire Business is Fit and Flying, also includes networking, a panel discussion and an exhibition.
Connect Gazelles’ mission is to help Yorkshire companies grow and create jobs and wealth. The organisation has 60 of Yorkshire’s most successful entrepreneurs as its Entrepreneurs in Residence.
The aim of the Connect Gazelles Summit on October 15, is to bring together members from across the county to learn from the speakers and panel.

Julie Kenny CBE DL, Chief Executive of Rotherham-based Pyronix Ltd which manufactures electronic security equipment and exports over 50 per cent of its products to 65 countries
Jonathan Thornton, Former CEO of Thornton & Ross, the largest over the counter pharmaceutical manufacturer in the UK which Jonathan took from sales of £16m to sales of £70m before eventual sale in 2013
Mark Bowers, CEO of Redfern, the first company to commoditise travel and which, in 2011, won a contract to manage the travel arrangements for 10 Government Departments.
