Leeds-based PR and social media specialist agency, Prohibition, has won a major new client by adding Sealy UK, the British arm of the world’s largest bed manufacturer and part of the Silentnight Group, to its ever-expanding portfolio.
The agency will work with Sealy on a retained basis, helping position the brand as a premium bed and mattress manufacturer for ABC1 consumers as well as those interested in an active, sporting lifestyle.
Prohibition will deliver an integrated digital and social media PR campaign for Sealy, covering content marketing, social media engagement and celebrity endorsement, bringing Sealy’s “deeper sleeper” brand positioning to life throughout multiple touchpoints.
It will also develop and deliver the “Sealy World of Sport”; a strategy focused on proving the link between sporting excellence and recovery, and getting a great night’s sleep. This will also involve a programme of celebrity endorsement, with the agency brokering alliances and partnerships with sporting professionals across the UK.

The appointment follows a period of strong growth at Prohibition that has seen it double in size over the past 12-months, as well as pick up briefs for brands including Netto, Savills UK and Interflora.
