A Brighouse specialist recruitment agency is jumping at the chance to help a Keighley special school kit out its soft play room.
Five team members from Provide Education will be taking part in a sponsored ‘jumpathon’ on Wednesday 19th August to help Phoenix Special School achieve its goal of raising £7,000.
The team plan to jump up and down, non-stop, on an indoor trampoline in their office from 8am to 4pm to raise money for soft play blocks.
Provide Education is an education recruitment agency which offers a 24-hour rapid response service to help schools fill supply and permanent job vacancies.
The company’s recruitment consultant, and keen fundraiser, Laura Brown, said: “It’s going to be a challenging but fun day. We’ll be getting dressed up in 80’s outfits and playing music. If anyone gets tired someone else will jump in to replace them!”
Laura and her fellow team members will be staging their jumpathon at the company’s newly expanded office in Thornhill Brigg Mills, Brighouse.
Managing director of Provide Education, Barry Simmons, said: “I always feel really proud when my staff volunteer to do these things. They go above and beyond the call of duty to support the schools they work with.”
The company has more than 2,000 teachers, teaching assistants, cover supervisors, nursery nurses and school support staff on its books.
It has seen year-on-year business growth since it was established in 2007 and has doubled its turnover and staff numbers within the last three years.
