A Sheffield bathroom business has opened the first dedicated mobility showroom of its kind South Yorkshire.
ibath, located on Effingham Road, Attercliffe, has created a unique showroom to offer the latest and modern easy access baths and other specialist mobility products on the market.
The company teamed up with Renaissance, a UK manufacturer that specialises in producing all types of easy access bathing for both the domestic and commercial markets, to offer the dedicated mobility range.
Products available include walk-in baths, height adjustable baths with powered swing seating, wet rooms, raised height toilets, grab rails, shower sears and newly launched wider toilets.
iBath, run by Jane Hunter and her sister Isabella, specialises in selling British made bathroom products and is the only showroom in the region to stock brands from this country alone.
Jane said: “We are really pleased to be able to provide our customers with a dedicated mobility showroom. We are committed to providing products for customers with all types of requirements and the specialist products available in this part of the showroom allow us to do just that.
“It means customers can see the products in a completed set up and give them a real feel for how their own bathroom could be transformed by the quality British products we have available to them.”
ibath is housed on the site of the former Attercliffe Non Political Working Men’s Club on Effingham Road, which in the 1960s and 70s welcomed some of the city’s biggest celebrities, including Bobby Knutt, Marti Caine, Paul Shane, Charlie Williams, Lynne Perrie and her brother Dougie Brown.
The newly renovated property also houses a modern bathroom showroom, with high quality brands on show including Be Modern, Roman, Alliance, Silverdale, Tavistock, AKW, Ideal Standard and many more.
