NGC Networks wins gold partner status

Business communications specialist NGC Networks has been made a Gold Partner with internet service provider Metronet (UK).

Wakefield-based NGC Networks specialises in telecommunications and internet connectivity. The partnership enables NGC to deliver Metronet’s hybrid wired and wireless internet solutions to its clients at competitive rates. These solutions are ideal for disaster recovery and business continuity.

Metronet’s network covers Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and, more recently, Newcastle and Bradford.

Several of NGC Networks’ clients have used the Government’s Superfast Broadband Connection Vouchers Scheme towards the cost of installing Metronet solutions. The scheme enables businesses to apply for up to £3,000 towards upgrading their internet connectivity.

The clients include Bradford Bulls, Leeds & Yorkshire Housing Association, WRM Media in Wakefield and Ant Hire Solutions, Leeds.

The Connection Vouchers scheme has been extended to March 2016 but funding is likely to be used up by October 2015. NGC Networks, a registered supplier in the scheme, has urged businesses to apply now.

NGC Networks director Nikki Guest said: “Having better internet connectivity is such a boost to business and helps companies to be more efficient and effective in the way they operate.

“Being involved in the scheme is a great opportunity for us and we’ve already helped many businesses to be awarded with funding to gain superfast internet connectivity.”
