Virgin Media is bringing a unique photo booth experience to central Leeds to celebrate its £3 billion fibre broadband rollout, which began in the city in late July.
The ‘High Speed Selfie’ booth will provide visitors with the unique experience of being photographed while being buffeted by winds of up to 270mph, giving the effect of g-force on their facial features. The hilarious (if not always flattering!) photos can then be instantly printed and emailed to keep for posterity.
The booth will entertain visitors to Briggate, Leeds, on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 September. The High Speed Selfie booth celebrates the start of Virgin Media’s five-year, £3 billion extension of its fibre broadband network, which will bring high speed internet to four million more homes and businesses across the country.
Leeds residents can express their interest in getting high speed broadband in their street by registering their details at virginmedia.com/cablemystreet.
The High Speed Selfie is the first public experience of its kind ever created. It was created by #HASHTAG (www.HASHTAGHASHTAG.co), photographic experience creators led by London-based entrepreneur Andrew Theodore, with the aim of simulating the effects of g-force on participants’ faces – with astonishing results!
