The winners of the second Beverley Food Festival and East Yorkshire Local Food Network Awards were announced this week at a networking supper at Beverley Tickton Grange that was attended by 200 guests.
The awards initiative is a collaboration between Beverley Town Council, East Riding Council and East Yorkshire Local Food Network and was organised by Jessica Sellers, Helen Watson, Julian Wild, Rob Farnsworth and Ed Sweeting.
“We were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the awards nominations and the unprecedented number of guests at the supper is testimony to the strength of the network.” said Mark Farnsworth, vice chair of the East Yorkshire Local Food Network.
