Family-run Muck Movers has purchased a new vehicle to support its growing customer base.
The Rotherham-based business has acquired a new eight-wheel wagon as part of a six-figure funding deal with NatWest and the bank’s asset finance partner Lombard.
Muck Movers provides vehicles for removal projects for a range of customers including building and construction firms as well as landscaping businesses.
Run by partners Rob Butcher and Sue Metcalfe, Muck Movers has a fleet of six-wheeler and eight-wheeler wagons which can carry between 13 and 16 tons of waste. The business employs six people.
Rob said: “The new vehicle is an eight wheeler. We have found customers have been wanting vehicles of this size more often than the six-wheelers. The new wagon is also eco-efficient so we can ensure we are doing our part for the environment.”
When the time came to obtain funding for the new wagon Rob turned to NatWest relationship manager Ray Booth for support. Ray obtained funding working in partnership with Lombard relationship manager Natalie Morris.
Rob said: “Ray and Natalie have been brilliant. They were enthusiastic about our new business goals and offered excellent support.”
Ray said: “Sue, Rob and Muck Movers are a great business with a strong customer base in the region. The business continues to grow and I wish them every success for the future.”
Natalie said: “I was delighted to support Muck Movers on its purchase of new vehicle which will no doubt assist with the business with is continued business aspirations.”
