Guests eat and drink Yorkshire at official opening of The Yorkshire bar and grill!

More than 70 guests from York’s business, hospitality and retail sectors got the opportunity to eat and drink Yorkshire at the official opening of The Yorkshire bar and grill.

Attendees at the two-hour invitation-only event had the opportunity to sample a selection of Yorkshire gins, Yorkshire beers, prosecco, and bite-sized portions from the Yorkshire-themed menu.

During a short welcoming speech, The Yorkshire bar and grill general manager Graham Usher paid tribute to those who had helped create the new venue, in particular citing his own team, for their support and input.

Mr Usher said: “This was the perfect way of introducing The Yorkshire bar and grill to a new audience.

“It gave them the opportunity to see for themselves what others have been talking about, and to have their taste buds tempted – and satisfied – by some fabulous Yorkshire flavours.”

Located on St Maurice’s Road, The Yorkshire bar and grill offers customers a stylish and relaxed setting, where they can take advantage of free wifi, whilst enjoying a range of different dishes throughout the day.

Dishes on the dinner menu include Pressed Yorkshire Rabbit, Gin Cured Salmon, Yorkshire Waygu Steak Hache, Tomahawk Pork Chop, Pan Fried East Coast Cod Fillet, Dark Chocolate and Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil Delice, Hedgerow Fruit Cheescake and Smoked Ribblesdale Goats Cheese.

The Brunch and Home Comforts features classics such as Eggs Benedict, Venison Burger and East Coast Fish and Chips.
