Toast PR is opening a Yorkshire base thanks to securing the public relations brief for Hello Work Leeds and increased interest from other companies across the Pennines.
The move into Leeds is part of Toast PR’s continued expansion plans and it now has three UK bases in Manchester, London and Leeds, and a team of 12 working across accounts in fashion, leisure, lifestyle, technology and luxury brands.
Clancy Walker, copywriter and communications consultant, former CIPR Young Communicator of the Year and regular expert on BBC Radio Leeds, has joined the Toast PR team in Leeds to work on client accounts and support MD Julia Mitchell with new business activity.
Established in 2004 by former Boots PR Manager Julia Mitchell, Toast PR has grown to be one of the UK’s leading boutique consumer and business-to-business PR agencies and its clients include Grafenia Plc, Market Gravity, Bravissimo and Lily O’Brien’s chocolates.
Julia said: “We’re delighted to be opening a base in Leeds as it’s a thriving business city. It will enhance our service to Hello Work as it expands into Yorkshire and stand us in good stead to offer PR services to businesses in the region.”
As well as Hello Work Leeds, Toast PR has also been appointed by app companies www.parenthub.co.uk, Fatsoma and www.howz.com to conduct regional and national media relations and press activity.
Julia added: “Now is an exciting time for Toast, following our new client wins, our expansion into Leeds. With a strong portfolio of clients and a personal, professional service that many larger agencies struggle to replicate, we’re looking forward to more great results and continuing our expansion into Yorkshire and beyond.”
