Lost your work-life balance this Christmas? CCF is here to help!

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring…..except for the harassed business owner, desperately trying to get paperwork in order for HMRC!

Teresa Bowe, founder and manager of CCF Accountancy in Harrogate, says more people than ever this year have told her they will be working over Christmas instead of enjoying time with their families.

So, to help them turn things around, she has arranged a series of seminars that will explain how to plan better and regain that elusive work-life balance, with the first one taking place in the New Year on January 8.

“For many business owners, Christmas is the only real break they get all year so it’s even more important they take time out to be with their loved ones rather than poring over the company books,” she explains.

“But an increasing number of business people – both clients and those I’ve met at professional events – say they will spend most of it getting their paperwork in order for their tax returns, book-keeping or simply catching up with work.

“It just shouldn’t be that way – so we’re hoping our workshops will help them enjoy the true meaning of Christmas in the future.”

The first seminar, New Year, New Resolutions, is a networking breakfast that will help attendees get their businesses ready for the year ahead. It will be held at CCF’s offices on Victoria Avenue, Harrogate, from 8am – 10am on Friday, January 8 2016. Breakfast and refreshments are included and the event is is free to attend but must be booked in advance – call 01423 597499 or email events@ccfaccountancy.co.uk to secure a place.

A bookkeeping workshop will take place on Thursday, February 4 from 10am to noon, followed by the Creating a Successful Business while Maintaining a Work-Life Balance seminar from noon to 1.30pm on Thursday, March 10.
