2016 is shaping up to be an “eventful” year for event services expert Joe Manby Limited as it adds five new events, which for this year already includes 35 re-appointments to its existing portfolio.
A busy 2015 saw the team service a full programme of events at venues around the country as well as securing a raft of new contract wins.
The Harrogate-based firm has now been appointed to provide its services to events being run for the Royal College of Midwives and The British Pain Society plus a new specialist dental show, Pan Dental, a Construction Logistics & Cyclist Safety event, sponsored by Transport for London, and the Holiday and Travel show – which launches in Liverpool in January 2017.
According to director Richard Manby, this activity demonstrates a renewal of confidence in the events sector. He said: “It’s still early in the year but we’re already seeing renewed confidence in the sector – with a number of new shows launched nationwide, as well as on our own home turf of Yorkshire. This represents a big improvement from where the events sector was eight years ago.
“There’s a growing trend for more events to open to the public which is being driven by consumer demand, particularly in the pet, craft and Christmas sectors. However while the event industry is showing good growth in particular areas, it is by no means universal and remains, as ever, extremely competitive.”
“As one of the UK’s largest independent events service providers, we thrive on this and continue to offer real Yorkshire value for money, along with a full range of integrated event services at venues across the UK.”
