One of the Yorkshire region’s leading providers of business technology services, Vital Technology Group, has relocated from Knaresborough to larger premises in Wetherby as part of its expansion plans.
The company has moved to the Equinox development on the Sandbeck Estate, having outgrown its headquarters in Knaresborough where it had been since 2008.
The move follows Vital’s December announcement of its acquisition of Octari, a Leeds-based IT service provider with plans to integrate Octari fully into the Vital business over the next 12 months.
Lee Evans, managing director of Vital, said: “It’s been a busy few months for Vital with our acquisition of Octari quickly followed by the relocation to our new offices in Wetherby.
“Thanks to continued year-on-year growth we were quickly outgrowing our previous home in Knaresborough and the time was right to make a substantial investment into premises that meet our needs, and give us the room we need for our continued growth.
“The Wetherby office were ideal for us; in need of some refurbishment which meant we could really make it a home of our own and tailor it to suit our needs, and the location just by the A1(M) makes it that bit easier for us to service our clients throughout the Yorkshire region and beyond.”
Vital Technology Group was established in 2006 and was originally on Hornbeam Park, in Harrogate, until moving to Knaresborough two years later.
The group includes IT support and service provider Vital Network Solutions, web development business Vital Online Studio and business communications specialist Vital Telecommunications.
