IT firm scores double award nomination

Microsoft Gold partner, Azzure IT, has received recognition for its recent success with a double award nomination.

The firm is in the running for Small Business of the Year at the 2016 Yorkshire Business Masters awards, with managing director Craig Such nominated for Yorkshire Company Director of the Year (with turnover up to £35m) at The Yorkshire Business Leaders Awards 2016.

The nominations come as part of a wave of rapid growth and success for the firm; from recently being named fastest growing tech company in the north by Deloitte and receiving recognition  as one of the four top providers of Enterprise Resource Planning software in the world by Microsoft, to being awarded a Regional Growth Fund Grant to enable further investment.

Craig Such said: “I am thrilled to begin 2016 on such a high note. I am honoured to have been shortlisted among some of my most respected peers in the county.

“It is a testament to the efforts of my whole team and a reflection of how much Azzure IT has grown and progressed in the last year, and we don’t plan on slowing down.”

Azzure IT’s recent success is well deserved. The company was launched as a self-funded start-up in 2011. Since then, the team has grown from one to 37 and is now exporting its expertise to Europe.

Craig Such added: “When I launched the company in 2011, it was from a standing start, so to progress so quickly and to achieve such recognition has been incredible.”
