South Yorkshire based window and door manufacturer, Building Product Solutions, has commissioned a bespoke piece of workflow software which is set to improve processes and increase efficiency across the business.
The software is used to record the status of all live jobs. Every ongoing job is projected on screens throughout the company’s headquarters in Goldthorpe, providing the whole Building Product Solutions’ team with real time access to updates and information about individual sites and plots.
A newly formed customer service team within the business uses the software to give customers up-to-the-minute information to create a quick and easy resolution between on site and office based teams. It also enables them to prioritise jobs, accurately schedule site staff and installers and record progress.
Lynne Darwin, sales director of Building Product Solutions, said: “As a business grows customer service levels can easily slip and we were determined that this would not happen. Building Product Solutions achieved a turnover of £3.5 million in the past financial year. It now has £14 million worth of jobs on its books after winning long-term contracts to supply major housing developers such as Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Gleeson and Redrow Homes.
