Family mediation specialist Alexis Walker is celebrating this month, having notched up ten years’ service at Huddersfield law firm Wilkinson Woodward Norcliffe & Co.
Alexis began her legal career in Scotland as Reporter to the Children’s Panel, where she investigated and assessed referrals on children in need of care and protection.
Alexis moved to Yorkshire in the 1980s and joined Wilkinson Woodward in April 2006. Over the past three decades she has developed a reputation as a leading family mediator, helping hundreds of couples to resolve financial and childcare arrangements following a relationship breakdown.
Alexis is an accredited mediator and is qualified to offer child inclusive mediation, allowing children a voice in their future arrangements. She is also a Senior Mediator – the gold standard in mediation – as well as a board member with the Family Mediators Association.
Managing director Maureen Cawthorn said: “Alexis has a wealth of experience in family mediation and is highly regarded for her extensive experience and expertise in this area. We’re delighted to be marking her tenth year at Wilkinson Woodward Norcliffe & Co.”
Alexis is based at Wilkinson Woodward Norcliffe & Co’s offices in Huddersfield. The firm has further offices in Halifax and Brighouse.
