Bed company celebrates new dawn

Sheffield’s Natural Bed Company celebrated its 42nd year in business and its recent move to new city centre premises with an after-hours party for friends and associates.

Co-directors Peter Bennion and Kay Wallace and their team welcomed hundreds to the event, which was staged at the company’s new 3,000-square foot showrooms on Fitzwilliam Street in the Devonshire Quarter.

The company, previously based on Devonshire Street for 29 years, hand-crafts over 1,000 beds a year at its workshops in Attercliffe for customers all over the world.

It was awarded the Made In Sheffield license five years ago and also stocks globally-sourced designer furniture, lighting, bedlinen and home accessories.
