Brammer, a UK distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products, and Buck & Hickman, a leading distributor of tools, maintenance and health & safety products, has demonstrated its commitment to supporting local contracts and customers with a move to a larger, dedicated premises in Hull.
The new Sales & Service Centre, which is the fourth Buck & Hickman site in Yorkshire, will strengthen its nationwide coverage.
After operating in the city since 1983, Brammer will be moving from its current 1,495 sq ft branch in Northumberland Avenue to a 4,200 sq ft facility on Witty Street with extra office space on the 1st floor.
This will enable Brammer to showcase a wider range of products thanks to increased capacity, which will also support the opening of a new Buck & Hickman branch facility in Hull, all under one roof.
As well as offering customers in Hull and the Humberside region greater choice and convenience, the new branch will provide same day delivery for popular stocked items and increased stock availability of a selection of market-leading manufacturers such as SKF, Siemens and SMC, as well as Roebuck and Q-Safe which are exclusively available from Brammer and Buck & Hickman in the UK.
In addition, the facility will benefit from enhanced local branch knowledge and experience, with Brammer and Buck & Hickman’s technically trained teams on hand to ensure customers have access to one-to-one advice and guidance.
The move also coincides with Brammer and Buck & Hickman becoming official Patrons of Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce, an acclaimed role in the business community which will see the organisations spearhead business in the region, and offer support and guidance to other Chamber Members.
Ailsa Webb, UK Group operations director at Brammer and Buck & Hickman, said: “With a move to far bigger, more modern premises we will be able to provide enhanced support for our local customers and contracts, centred around a greater stockholding capability and the extended range offered through Brammer and Buck & Hickman.
“Our new convenient location will also support regional customer growth, and ensure customers both old and new can access the products they require.”
“We will be hosting an open day on 14 April, where new and existing customers will have a chance to meet with our sales team, and a plaque will be presented in recognition of our new position, as Patron of Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce.”
